Hello. My name is Adrian Dumas, founder of Helping Hands Counseling Services which has been operating since 2016. My goal is to provide a safe environment where people can explore the possibility of change within their lives and their relationships. My vision is to be the leading practice in providing skilled therapy to our ethnically diverse community.

I am a licensed professional counselor who received a Master's degree in Counseling from Spring Arbor University in 2010. Since that time, I have worked for several agencies in the Grand Rapids area to serve many families, adolescents, and individuals.

At Helping Hands Counseling Services, I currently provide counseling services in a private practice office setting.  I am trained to assist with a variety of issues you and your family are facing. I focus on personal wellness for adults and their families, helping people lead fulfilling and healthy lives.  I apply techniques from a variety of theories and love to learn new ways to better assist my clients.
